Coral Art + Science Consortium
The Medina Lab is helping lead the Coral Art + Science Consortium, a growing collaboration of scientists and artists working together to expand how we understand, communicate, and respond to the coral reef crisis.
A collaborative publication in Nature marked an important first step for the group, bringing together scientific and artistic perspectives around a shared goal: finding new ways to engage with coral reef conservation and inspire action to protect these threatened ecosystems.
The Consortium continues to build on this foundation, connecting research, art, storytelling, and public engagement in support of coral reefs and the communities connected to them.
